Welcome to The Store Grocery
Our Grocery at The Store is a true neighborhood grocery store, with items from A to Z
The store’s philosophy is to provide amazing food & drink. Every decision is driven by the owner’s, Frank Michaud, palate and he feels confident in the Store’s “hometown” presentation.

It’s been too long since
It’s been too long since I was last able to indulge in these marvelous muffins. The pandemic forced us to stay home in Canada for the last two years, but not this year!! Glad to hear
The Store is still open, I am already dreaming of which muffins I hope are available when I arrive! Can’t wait, I’ll have to buy extras to make up for the years I missed.
I can’t get enough of
I can’t get enough of the coconut macaroons. Oh MY Goodness! And the muffins…yumm!
You can count on this
You can count on this store for fresh, wholesome, delicious baked goods and their cafe fare is wonderful. My friend and I come to the area once per year and it is imperative for us to stop and enjoy. There is a good selection of wines and grocery items. We are thankful for you being there and hope you find continued success.

I was fortunate that one of my son’s friends gifted me a Strawberry/Rubarb muffin. It was the most moist delicious muffin I have ever had in my life. I thought my muffins were good but NO! I wished you shipped since I live in Bothell/Woodinville

Four Wines for the 4th of July
Whether you are planning a big steak, a lighter meal of chicken or seafood, or just good ol’ American hot dogs, We have a wine that will please your palate and your guests.
Why & When to Decant Wine
We recently had an offering of 3 superb wines at an astonishingly low price. From Bodega Pirineos, the Montesierra and Mesache Tinto, and from Chantail, the Chateau Planeres. We believe that two of these wines, the Mesache Tinto and the Chateau Planeres would be best tasted subsequent to a decanting.
Amazing Wine Opportunity
January wine sale with our friends at Bodega Pirineos & Planeres. These wine pair well and are amazing for Winter holidays.
Traditional Brioche a Tete
Frank brings you Vienna. Yes, the city of Sigmund Freud, the home of great art and intellectuals. And let us tell you, this French pastry is a work of psychology. It’s a bread, but with a succulent ratio of egg and butter, as complex as any mind. It’s light, slightly puffy, and has a dark crust which is accented by a delightful egg wash.
Gran Oristan – La Mancha Gran Reserva
A blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine spent two years in a cask and three years in bottle before release. Aromas of black cherry, vanilla and blackberry give over to a flood of palate-enticing flavors of blackberry and dark cherry. The wine...
Samash Bay Cheese now at The Store in Anacortes
One Washington state’s early cheese makers is Samish Bay Cheese, located in Bow. Samish Bay Cheese started by making gouda cheeses. Goudas, which come from the Netherlands, found a natural home in Skagit and Whatcom Counties, where large Dutch populations settled and now produce the second largest number of tulip bulbs on earth, behind the Netherlands itself.
Borsao Vina Borgia Garnacha
What a beautiful everyday wine from Spain. Deep, bright purple color. Aromas of dark berries and cherries give over to a ripe dark berry mid-palate of incredible smoothness. The finish is long, lean and very fresh.
Tasari Nero d’Avola Merlot
This un-oaked Italian red is just the ticket for an everyday wine. Beautiful fruit aromas and flavors greet you on the first sip. the acidity is balanced perfectly for pairing with a variety of foods or as a pre-meal sipper. An easily likeable quaff.
Borsao Vina Borgia
Borsao Vina Borgia – Aromas of dark berries, cherry and spice greet the nose. On the palate, the wine offers dark cherry flavors with absolutely no hard edges. The finish is nicely along with the berry and cherry flavors carrying over.
Campos Reales Tempranillo
Aromas of dark fruits… blueberries, black cherry and blackberries are bordered by light touches of vanilla. the fruit carries across the palate and into the finish with the vanilla expressing itself on a nice clean finish.
