Ginger, it’s not just a hair color. It’s a delicacy, a medicine, and a spice. Frank spent time in South-East Asia where he learned to cultivate this precious root while practicing a form of local baker-shamanism known as Dough-fu-zen. Needless to say, the ginger root figures heavily in the lore and mythology of practitioners of the age-old school of Dough-fu.
Frank even had the pleasure of training David Carradine during a movie shoot, as the Dough-fu are known for their sharp eyes, hand movements, and extra-sensory taste-buds which allow them to pick up on poisons and intoxicants.
The Granpappy’s Ginger Snap gets its name from the “snapping” sound made by the wrists of older practitioners.
