Whilst protecting the Canadian maple syrup collectors from the native Sasquatch, Frank’s cousin Harold, who was a captain for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, received this culinary baker’s delight as reward for his vigilance and general good nature.
The maple syrup collective cook would bake up a dozen of these muffins every Friday for Harold. Harold would then promptly take them back to headquarters for his brother Mounties.
The prize was greatly appreciated.
